1.       How are you enjoying the summer?

I enjoy every summer. Hope yours is going well.

 

2.       What will be the sole strategy of Trump’s layers in the documents case?

Delay, delay, delay. Then try to win an election that will give the prick the opportunity to squash the case.

 

3.       What’s your reaction to Sue Henry being on the radio again?

I thought she was very good. Kind of like an old friend returning. When I heard her she was subbing for the Mid Day Mussolini which made it all the better.

 

4.       4. Why is it that Pennsylvania can barely pass a budget on time when there is a Democratic Governor?

The reason is because there is a GOP controlled House or Senate that puts the welfare of the rich and big business before the middle class. 

 

5.       Do you watch the Home Run Derby during the All Star week?

I usually tune in to the last 15 minutes. It is a different type of skill level because in order to compete the player has to keep batting one pitch after another with no downtime. They have to be very sore the next day. 

 

6.       Are you loving this year’s baseball season?

More than ever. This is the year of the streak. Win, losing, teams go on the high road or into the gutter. It is exciting to watch, especially the AL East where everyone, even last place Boston is over .500. 

 

7.       Any thoughts about sexual predator Larry Nasser being stabbed 10 times in prison?

Number 11 or 12 might have doner the trick. Don’t forget I’m a liberal free spending reactionary Roman Catholic that believes in revenge sand the death penalty. But as Sheryl sang: 

8.       How is inflation coming along under your guy Joe?

Just swell. It is now at 4% and on the way down. The man is presiding over a record economy but no one seems to believe it.

 

9.       What did you think of Trump’s latest allegation that joe Biden was on cocaine?

It’s all white noise to me. I don’t pay attention when he speaks. 

 

10.   How has the Dobbs case changed the way parents talk to their kids about sex and situations thereof?

It is way different than it used to be. Now according to health experts, it’s protewct legally one’s ass. since the US Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision ended 50 years of protected access to abortions in the United States last year, some families say these discussions now include details that sound straight out of a spy movie, including how to rent out-of-state post office boxes if they end up needing abortion pills, use WiFi in a public place and delete any personal details from phone apps that could track them. These parents say the shifting legal landscape around reproductive health care has also brought new worries and a sense of urgency to conversations and decisions about birth control that might have been more distant considerations before.

 

11.   Read any new books this summer?

 

Regrettably no but I am going to be on  the look out for the Billy DeLea book out on Russell Bufalino.

 

12 Did Biden save NATO after all the Trump bashing?

 

Absolutely. He even can come away with two big wins on this latest trip. One of the things he did that that will weaken Russia’s strategic position in another detrimental consequence of its invasion of Ukraine. Turkey’s lifting of its blockade on Sweden’s entry into NATO was a significant and stunning move on the eve of the NATO summit in Lithuania. The reversal by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan came hours after he warned Sweden would be out in the cold until Turkey got its long-delayed membership in the European Union.  Once Sweden finally joins NATO, it will bolster Biden’s reputation as a US leader who reinvigorated and expanded the bloc. Finland – which decided to sign up, like Sweden, after the invasion of Ukraine – has already added hundreds of miles of NATO territory on Russia’s border.
