WALDMAN BATTLES IN THE 9^th

Democrat Amanda Waldman is back for another go at Trump enabler and obstructionist Dan Meuser. This guy is the Congressman only because Lou Barletta gave up a job he clamored for all his life and then listened to Diaper Don saying he’d ,  (the fake billionaire ) help fund his campaign for the Senate in 23018. Waldman ran against Meuser in 2022 and did a credible job. As an public  advocate for fairness she has a record to run on.

But so does Meuser.

On the day Meuser huddled with GOP lawmakers being attacked by Trumpanzees and criminals he voted against certifying the election. Meuser was saved by the more than 1300 people coming for members of Congress who were charged with a crime by Capitol police.

Meuser voted AGAINST certifying the 2020 election in effect nullifying his own win.

Meuser voted against the extension of the childhood tax credit which reduced children’s poverty by half.

Meuser has been part of the GOP cabal that is denying freedom for Ukraine and funds for Israel therefore extending a helping hand to Putin  and his favorite butt boy, Donald J. Trump.

Perhaps more egregiously Meuser voted against the infrastructure bill that included better internet connections to his overwhelming rural district.

Meruser whines about the border but said nothing when his own House said NO because their Lord and Savior Donald J. Trump put thumbs down on it.

 Meuser has hidden from the voters, will only have controlled town hall meetings and boasts the best customer service of all the Congress people in the nation. Yet he had a revolving staff of qualified people who have left him because of his alleged nastiness and belittlement of them. To Meuser, people are expendable.

The traditional Republicans party can’t stand him. Here was a guy who was Governor Tom Corbett’s Revenue Secretary.  Meuser was a member of the Governor’s cabinet. Yet now he has sided with the fake Republican wing of the party in Luzerne County funding them. They are led by a convicted drug felon T. J. Fitzgerald who has posted some ugly things on line and sells obscene anti American merchandise.

So Waldman can run on that. But also the matter of Meuser’s ethics. Check this missive out from the Waldman campaign about Meuser’s personal wealth.

“Dan Meuser’s extraordinary surge of 37.1% in portfolio performance for the same period, as reported by stock trade tracker Quiver Quantitative on March 5, has drawn considerable attention. Insider trading, a serious offense in the United States, carries significant penalties and can lead to damaging reputational consequences. This illicit practice involves trading securities based on material, nonpublic information, thereby undermining the integrity of financial markets and violating U.S. securities laws.

Given his political career, Meuser’s notable portfolio gains raise eyebrows and prompt scrutiny, especially considering the strict regulations surrounding insider trading. While the Republican representative from Pennsylvania has not faced public accusations of wrongdoing related to insider trading, his impressive investment performance may spark questions about the sources of his success and whether he had access to privileged information unavailable to the public.

The lack of specific details from the Quiver Quantitative post regarding the trades or investments contributing to Meuser’s significant performance increase adds to the ambiguity. Concerns may arise regarding potential conflicts of interest if Meuser’s investment strategy involved trading in securities of companies with which he had connections through his political position.

Meuser’s office has not commented on the Quiver Quantitative report or his investment activities, leaving it challenging to assess the nature of his portfolio performance and whether it raises any ethical or legal issues.”

Meuser appears to be uncommonly wealthy for the common men and women of the 9^th. How can he possibly know what they need or want?
