WITH WILKES-BARRE VISIT

It was a great day in Wilkes Barre yesterday when Kamala Harris came to town.

Work commitments and the inability to stand more than 25 minutes prohibited me from going.

But here are great pics from Audrey Campbell,  Phyllis  Hopkins  Brian Vinsko, Carin Pientka Attorney Cheryl Sobieski Reedy and Maureen Riley. More than 4,000 people attended and 1,000 were turned away. Here;s a partial photo journal of the day. 

Before the event, great Democratic ladies Maureen Riley, Carin Pientka and Kathleen Hannon get ready for the event.

Mayor George Brown gave a great welcoming speech and here he is joined by Attorney Chreryl Sobeski Reedy and former Congressman Paul Kanjorski.

Governor Josh Shapiro gave his usual rousing speech. 

Former Judge and St. John's alumni Joe Cosgrove  is with Cheryl Sobeski Reedy and her son Ryan who juast started his senior year at Wilkes University.

This wouldn't be a Democratic event without the Vinsko family on board. Three generations in fact. Bill Senior, (great guy!) his grandson Brian Junior and Attorney Brian Vinsko.Attorney Vinsko has previously met President Biden and along with some very wonderful Luzerne County

 lawyers the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

This event was such a rousing success, you can be sure that the next President of   the United States will be back.
