DEMS WALK OUT OF BOGUS BIDEN MIDSET HEARING

The committee ranking member accused Republicans of shirking their duties in favor of “armchair diagnosing” the former president.

Democrats are refusing to participate in the first congressional hearing focusing on allegations of former President Joe Biden’s mental decline while in the White House.

Only Sens. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) and Peter Welch (D-Vt.) attended the kickoff of the Senate Judiciary Committee meeting Wednesday morning, with Durbin, the ranking member, immediately walking out after calling the event a distraction from the real issues in the panel’s purview — such as President Donald Trump’s deployment of the military to respond to immigration protests in Los Angeles.

Durbin also accused Republicans on the panel of being “asleep at the wheel,” regarding their responsibilities of oversight of the current administration.

The hearing, which includes testimony from former Trump administration officials like ex-press secretary Sean Spicer, underscores how Republicans in Congress are intent to continue the drumbeat of attacks on the former president, even after he has largely exited public life. Across the Capitol, House Oversight Chair James Comer has launched his own probe into Biden whether Biden was mentally fit to lead the nation’s highest office, with interviews lined up with a number of senior Biden White House officials to gather evidence. TRUMP TO VETS

I LOVE, THAT’S WHY

I’M SCREWING

YA

The Department of Veterans Affairs is planning to cut 83,000 jobs, slashing employment by over 17 percent at the federal agency that provides health care for millions of veterans, according to an internal memo obtained by The Associated Press on March 5, 2025.

The department known as the VA manages and directly provides comprehensive services for veterans. Those services include health care, short- and long-term housing options, life insurance, pensions, education stipends, and assistance in jails and courts. The VA also engages in pathbreaking public health research. One-quarter of the VA’s 482,000 employees are veterans.

For the past month, the Trump administration has been cutting federal spending, causing numerous hardships for government employees, the agencies they work for and the people they serve.

But veterans are among those hardest hit, and the impact goes well beyond job loss.

My research on veterans in the criminal legal system illustrates the stark challenges that service members already face as they integrate back into civilian life.

BUT I DIDN’T SIGN UP FOR THIS WITH MY VOTE !

I am getting sick and tired of hearing Trump and Independent voters explain “I didn’t sign up for this (pick your issue) when I voted for Trump.

You wanna know what?

THEY DID!

They were told over and over again what he would do.

They saw how unqualified he was in terms of leadership.

They saw Kama Harris smoke him in the debate.

They saw how he used the office to make himself rich.

It was al there…

BUT THEY REFUSED TO BELIEVE WHAT THEY SAW AND HEARD.

So just SHUT UP and suffer in silence because I for one don’t want to hear your crap!

What you thought you didn’t sign up for

IS ON YOU!

BRESNAHAN BRINGS GOVERNMENT TO THE PEOPLE WITH NEW MOBILE OFFICE

Congressman Rob Bresnehan (Photo: LuLac archives)

U.S. Representative Rob Bresnahan, Jr. (PA-08) announced the launch of a new initiative to expand constituent services across Pennsylvania’s Eighth Congressional District with the introduction of a mobile office, known as the BresnaVan.

Rep. Bresnahan has made history as the first member of Congress in Pennsylvania to launch a mobile constituent office. This is an investment in the people of Northeastern Pennsylvania to break down barriers to ensure in person access to staff for all PA-08 constituents.

“Our mission is to make government more accessible, responsive, and present in every corner of the district,” said Rep. Bresnahan. “The BresnaVan will allow us to reach communities where we don’t have permanent offices and make sure every constituent has access to the support and services they deserve.”

The BresnaVan will travel across the district, reaching areas where we do not have permanent offices. Scheduled visits will be announced in advance, giving residents the opportunity to interact with staff who are able to assist with federal agencies, outreach, and other services. The mobile office will also partner with local officials to help address community needs on the ground.

Designed with the people of Northeastern Pennsylvania in mind, the BresnaVan features unique design elements — subtle “Easter eggs” — that celebrate the region’s culture, landmarks, and traditions. It also prominently displays office locations, addresses, and contact numbers to ensure residents can easily access support

SHAPIRO ADMINISTRATION PROMOTES SAFE DRIVING DURING SUMMER TRAVEL

Governor Josh Shapiro (Photo: LuLac archives)

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), Pennsylvania State Police (PSP), Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PA Turnpike) and Pennsylvania Traffic Injury Prevention Project (PA TIPP) came together to promote safe summer travel.

"I'm pleased to join my colleagues to encourage Pennsylvanians to keep safety at the forefront over the upcoming Independence Day weekend and all summer long," said PennDOT Secretary Mike Carroll. "No matter where your summer travels take you, always drive safely. Designate a sober driver or arrange for alternate transportation. Put the phone down and keep your full attention on the road. And buckle up! Seat belts save lives."

Now through the Fourth of July Weekend, the Pennsylvania State Police and local law enforcement will conduct checkpoints and roving patrols as part of the Fourth of July Impaired Driving Campaign. This effort is funded through PennDOT's statewide annual distribution of more than $6.2 million from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) for impaired driving enforcement.

THE LULAC TIME MACHINE

JUNE 21st, 1964

Jim Bunning of the Philadelphia Phillies threw a perfect game on June 21, 1964, against the New York Mets, winning 6-0. It was the seventh perfect game in modern Major League Baseball history and the first National League perfect game in the 20th century. The game, played at Shea Stadium, saw Bunning retire all 27 Mets batters on 90 pitches.

and this week in 1964 the number obe song in LuLac laND and America was "Chapel Of Love" by the Dixie Cups.
