 TRUMP IN EUROPE

Our President thinks Europe is a whole country so to make him comfortable that's why we headlined it. Trump's approval rating in the entire roster of countries is 30% which means that 70% think he's doing a good job. He was greeted by protesters in his ancestral homeland and even complained that they slowed down his otherwise excellent golf game.
Trump made news by saying his deadline with Russia has changed and he wants to shorten it. He also contradicted Benjamin Netanyahu by saying the food crisis in Gaza is real. These breaks with these two recalcitrant leaders are a recognition that Trump sees gigantic failures in Foreign policy for his administration. Trump is learning that any President's grip on foreign policy successes depend on the partners who are willing to help you achieve that. It appears that both Russia and Israel have been playing games, and I don't blame his for his frustration.
Additionally, Netanyahu's assertion that starving people in Gaza is not real is a ridiculous lie and not doing anything for his cause from people who see the starvation of babies with their own eyes. I have been a huge supporter of Israel since I was 14 in almost everything they did. This is testing my patience.

CAN THIS TALK MEUSER BACK INTO GOV’S RACE?

POLITICO reports President Donald Trump’s team is worried it has a Doug Mastriano problem on its hands.

Trump’s advisers privately fear the far-right firebrand could cost Republicans the elusive Pennsylvania governor’s seat and, were he to win the nomination, drag down the GOP ticket in the midterms next year, four Republicans familiar with their thinking said. Each was granted anonymity to speak frankly as they monitor the battleground race and consider their next moves.

Republicans blame Mastriano for costing the party a Senate contest, multiple House seats and a state legislative chamber in 2022 when he lost by 15 points in Pennsylvania’s gubernatorial race. Now he’s teasing a comeback bid against Democratic Gov. Josh Shapiro. With as many as four GOP-held House seats in play in the state, Republicans believe Mastriano’s name atop the ballot would threaten their chances of keeping their slim majority in the lower chamber.

A person close to Trump’s political operation — one of the four aforementioned Republicans — described the president’s team as “very concerned” that a Mastriano campaign “could jeopardize or add to the jeopardization of multiple down-ballot congressional races.”

Pennsylvania Republicans went even further, saying a Mastriano candidacy would all but certainly unleash a bloodbath across the state next November.

“If he’s our nominee, we lose four House seats,” Pennsylvania-based GOP consultant Josh Novotney said. “He’s a nightmare that no one wants.”

Asked for comment, Mastriano said POLITICO is “not letting facts getting [sic] in the way of a good story.”

This story represents an interesting take on the ’26 race. Dan Meuser already said he was going to stay in Congress. The only other big-name would-be Treasurer Stacy Gerrity who could give Shapiro a run. But Pennsylvania is still a very sexist state and has not elected a woman Governor r Senator. Meuser at least has built a bridge to the MAGA crazies.

The very fact that Mastriano is even considering a run after getting pasted is very strange to me. If I were on the Trump team, I’d get the guy a federal job.

Now. (Politico, LuLac)
