PLAYING WITH FIRE

 

A little civics lesson here. The director of national intelligence (DNI) is a cabinet-level United States government intelligence and security official. The position is required by the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004 to serve as executive head of the United States Intelligence Community (IC) and to direct and oversee the National Intelligence Program (NIP). All 18 IC agencies, including the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and the National Security Agency (NSA), report directly to the DNI. Other federal agencies with intelligence capabilities also report to the DNI, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

There have been 8 fully confirmed directors and eight acting directors.  Everyone except ONE was presumably in sync with current national security threats, issues and other items that needed immediate attention in the moment. In effect, this agency is one of proactivity to keep our nation safe. The Director has 17 agencies under their purview. All but ONE conducted areas of major concern in present time with these underlings.

All but ONE. Tulsi Gabbard.  On Friday, she released reports about a wild eyed conspiracy of the Obama administration to charge President Obama and his government for trying to conduct a coup of a person not yet President.

Gabbard detailed "striking" findings from declassified documents released Friday, claiming to showcase "overwhelming evidence" that an Obama-era cabal laid the groundwork for what would be the years-long Trump-Russia collusion probe after the 2016 election.

"The implications of this are frankly nothing short of historic," Gabbard said on this week's "Sunday Morning Futures."

"Over 100 documents that we released on Friday really detail and provide evidence of how this treasonous conspiracy was directed by President Obama just weeks before he was due to leave office after President Trump had already gotten elected. This is not a Democrat or Republican issue. This is an issue that is so serious it should concern every single American because it has to do with the integrity of our democratic republic," she continued.

First off, Obama was at fault by NOT blowing the whistle on the Russian infiltration of the DNC where thousands of ads against Hillary Cinton were generated.  He wanted to be fair and not accused of being partisan. A lot of good that did him.

These documents are going to be thrown out in any court in the land. So why se doing this? Why is she the first Director of National Intelligence looking to the past in an election her current boss WON?

Why is she wasting tax payer money on this shit when there are two wards going on, domestic and foreign threats, threats against her President and a myriad of other problems that might turn up?

Simple. Her Lord and Master Trump put her on ice when she made a statement different from his opinions when r the president twice publicly brushed off her testimony that Iran is not close to developing a nuclear weapon, and amid reports of tensions between the two.

The MAGA world never thought she was qualified, and she proved it with her lack of knowledge in the hearings. She needs to do this to get on the good side of the President.

Why?

Because she is what some people, (not me of course) call a political whore. In effect she’s trying to get back in the good graces of Trump.

Furthermore, the Supreme Court ruled that a President, not just President Trump but ANY president can’t be charged with a crime and can’t be indicted. Once upon a time, Gabbard was the darling of the Democrats so much so that Dr. David Sosar of King’s College called her the wildcard in the 2020 Presidential race. She then became a Republican and became a right-wing comer.  Now, she is the typical tired old politico grasping for straws to prove she’s still relevant.

LUZERNE COUNTY DEMS HOLD OUTING

 

The Luzerne County Democratic party held an event this afternoon at SBC Global. The chair of the event was Megan Kocher who is very instrumental in presenting a message of competence and excitement., She recently spear headed "The Empty Chair" program at Wilkes which celebrated the life of the late Congressman John Lewis.

Today Senator Marty Flynn said Democrats and like minded people who are getting screwed by this administration should learn how to pounce on the lies, cruelty and incompetence of all Republicans.

Eddie Day Pashinski spoke of how people in Congress take an lath but break it by supporting the un democratic actions of Trump and his collaborators.  Pashinski stressed the importance of the upcoming fall election.

The event was a huge success in the year long fight of this party to save this area, state and country from themselves.

We need to be governed.................not having institutions that help people STOLEN from the party of the millionaires, or worse yet, the never will be millionaires buying into this crazy stuff.
