This week’s Sunday Snowflakes are Speaker of the House Mike Johnson and President Donald Trump. Johnson sent his delegation home early despite the fact the government was going to be shut down. How are the two sides supposed to negotiate when two sides can’t meet?

Then there’s Trump who didn’t have the balls to face the Democrats and meet with them. Again this is vintage cowardly Trump, the bully with bluster and no action.

Furthermore Trump is going to force a government shutdown because he will not extend. A potential government shutdown is days away, and health care could be a tipping point in lawmakers’ ability to come to a funding agreement before Sept. 30.

Congress was  out this week, so lawmakers will have only two days to avert a shutdown when they return Monday. Complicating matters is a stalemate between the top two party leaders in the Senate, Majority Leader John Thune and Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, and a list of health care demands that Democrats want to tack on to a government funding extension.

Chuck Schumer said, ““It’s so easy to just sit down and talk to us, and we know we’re not going to get everything, but he’s not even doing that,” Schumer said in an interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” “And the American people are going to say, ‘WTF? Why won’t he do that?’ There’s no good reason.”

There is a reason Chuck, Johnson and Trump are hellbent on screwing the American people and making them poorer and sicker.
