The LuLac Edition #627, Nov. 3rd, 2008

PHOTO INDEX: WATER, WATER, WATER.

VOTE YES

On November 4th, Election Day, voters will be asked to authorize bond funds to improve Pennsylvania's drinking water and sewage treatment systems. If approved, the 400 million dollar bond will be used to reconstruct, rehabilitate and improve the state's aging water system. These grants and loans should help communities begin projects without raising local taxes and fees. The bond will not require any new taxes or fees nor will it require the increase of any existing tax to repay the $400 million dollars. It makes sense, vote YES.

MAKE HISTORY

No matter what you do tomorrow: VOTE. You will be making history, either electing the first Black American as President or participating in the biggest political upset in sixty years. It's your chance to be part of the game, part of history.

ROBO CALLS

We set a record in the LuLac household on Sunday. 11 robo calls from Ed Rendell to Bob Casey to Paul Kanjorski to Lou Barletta to Tom Ridge to freaking Joe the Plumber. And that's not counting the three on got on my cell phone from Obama and my boy Ed. But the reality of politics took a back seat to some normalcy. Big Ed was on the Eagles post game show giving us solace that the Guv's priorities were still in order.

We are tied at eleven robo calls in one day. I will vote and my mind is clear on each choice.
I also made the mistake of contributing to the War on Breast Cancer and they have never let up since. They believe in the saying, No Good Deed Goes Unpunished. My favorite is the guy who calls from Kansas City and tells me is calling on behalf of the Fire
House down the street!

Well I've made my decision. It's finally McCain, after frolicking back and forth for weeks. My decision is this ... I'm really afraid to give total control to the Dems, Pres., house, senate. Contrary to some popular beliefs, they'll sure as .... screw up things just as bad or worse than the Republicans if they have total liberal control. Also the Demo. Robo calls day in and day out are really pissing me off.

So Obama's going to put the coal industry out of business? Just as well, about time we got some of the welfare pie. Spread the wealth Barry.

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

I will vote for McCain, a patriot who has been tried and has risen above the suffering he endured to live a life of service to this great country.
I am amused at O's assertion that a vote for McCain is a vote for more Bush. As I see it, Baracko is very similar to Bush - neither had any appreciable experience before running for president and both believe their own press. With Baracko in the White House and the dems in control of Congress, I predict four unbelievable years of egomaniacs bringing us who knows what? This guy's greatest accomplishment to date is that he knows how to run for office. That's all he's done for the last 8 or 10 years I don't suppose anyone told him that if he wins, he will not be able to run for anything until his first term is up.
