The LuLac Edition #1472, Feb. 12th, 2011

As we end this incredible week in justice in LuLac land, we should pause to commemorate the 202nd birthday of an Illinois country lawyer named Abe Lincoln. We might be wise to remember this:
Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power.

News from Philadelphia indicates that the catholic church has put the pedophile scandals behind it by continuing the cover up efforts
which are as bad as the scandals.
For some reason this comes as no surprise.

Well if there was ever a poster president for abuse of power, Lincoln would rank right up there.
From suspending habeas corpus, to ignoring the Merryman ruling to unconstitutionally taxing income old Abe knew how to abuse power

Hey 10:41
There you people go again picking on the Catholic Church with sarcastic remarks. The abuse will always go on its the nature of the beast. Its the cover up effort that needs to be improved. Makes a body wonder what they are successfully covering up. Pray for them and be sure to get your kids a Catholic education at one of their remaining fine schools.

Pedophilia is the nature of the beast? Really? What does that say about the Catholic Church, priests and parishioners?

The beast in context is the priesthood and the celibacy rule
which is in my opinion not real in todays world. I have definate problems with the church and the cover ups which are ongoing, but for those who wish to be catholics
thats their business and I respect the catholic religion as much as any other which isnt much. I was a catholic for 21 years and my uncle was a priest by the way. I came as an adult not to admire the religion or the individual. My reasons are sound, but I am certainly not against all catholics
just their leaders.

Take a look at the latest statistics on Pedophilia arrestss. It clearly shows that Catholic priests stand at 1.6% while Protestant ministers are 3.8%

You Catholic bashers need to mind your own store and clean up your own mess.
