It is the political season, and the signs are coming out. Just a snapshot of a few of them. The late Bob Cummings would be proud of the photos.

I read Joanne Corbett's bio. It would appear that the Minooka Corbetts are as politically entrenched as anyone a certain radio host attacks. HMMMMM

Now will Yonk allow this comment or will he edit it as he continues to protect the WILKers

I had the pleasure of meeting Bob Cummings many years ago during a visit he made to the State College Airport. Cummings was an good pilot who often volunteered his time and talent to support the Civil Air Patrol. He seemed to be a very nice and down to earth person not very caught up in his own star status.
He also never seemed to lose his youthful look. I enjoyed seeing the openng of his once popular TV program on today's post.
And speaking of 'once popular', thanks for remembering WYOU in yesterday's article!

Many years ago I knew the man who wrote the song Bob Cummings used as a theme song. His name was Frank Stanton. With weekly network play he earned a decent piece of change. For that reason, Johnny Carson, Carroll OConnor and Kelsea Grammer have been co writers or writer on their signature tunes. Carsons co credit was with Paul Anka and it played 5 nights a week
for all those years.

CORBETT, THE RADIO TALK SHOW HOST RECUSES HIMSELF FROM THIS RACE. SAID IT ON THE RADIO A FEW TIMES. AND FOR THE 1000th TIME, WILK DOESN'T NEED PROTECTING FROM ME.
