YOU KNOW THE SLOGAN

What happens in Vegas apparently stays in Vegas. Apparently that can be extended to its politics. “If the Mayor needs to go, the family will stay”. Since 1999, Las Vegas residents have been accustomed to finding the name Goodman on the election ballot for mayor. Tuesday will be no different. Except this time voters will see Carolyn Goodman’s name replacing her husband’s. Oscar Goodman, the self-proclaimed "happiest mayor in the world," can't seek re-election after three terms. Early voting results showed Carolyn Goodman headed for a runoff in a primary election that drew few Sin City voters. She won about 40 percent of the more than 25,000 early votes. She had her husband's endorsement. County officials estimate roughly 42,000 people voted in the race. Term limits kept Oscar Goodman from running for a fourth term.
AND NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT
