THE NIXON’S LOVE STORY

Love letters exchanged by Richard Nixon and his wife Patricia during their two-year courtship were unveiled this past week at the Nixon Presidential Library and Museum in Yorba Linda.
Two letters went on display Sunday and four others will eventually rotate with them as part of an exhibit celebrating Patricia Nixon’s 100th birthday. The late Mrs. Nixon was born on March 16th, 1912 and named Thelma Patricia Ryan.
In one letter to his future bride, Nixon writes: "Every day and every night I want to see you and be with you," CBS News reported.
The letters span from 1938 to 1940, when the couple married. Patricia Nixon died in 1993 in New Jersey, one year before her husband. The centennial exhibit titled "People Were Her Project," is currently on display and is expected to run through October 2012.
Pat Nixon died in 1993 and at her funeral, the world saw a visibly emotional Richard Nixon who stood there sobbing as her casket was led away. The letters reflect a side of Nixon that many outside his own inner circle rarely if ever saw. Two excerpts:
Every day and every night I want to see you and be with you. Yet I have no feeling of selfish ownership or jealousy. Let's go for a long ride Sunday; let's go to the mountains weekends; let's read books in front of fires; most of all, let's really grow together and find the happiness we know is ours.
And.............
Somehow on Tuesday there was something electric in the usually almost stifling air in Whittier. And now I know. An Irish gypsy who radiates all that is happy and beautiful was there. She left behind her a note addressed to a struggling barrister who looks from a window and dreams. And in that note he found sunshine and flowers, and a great spirit which only great ladies can inspire. Someday let me see you again? In September? Maybe?
And they both had many Septembers after that!

Nixon was a crook. He was the only President who had to be installed in his grave with an industrial power auger.

People who actually win, not the heynas who whine like jelaous little babies usually follow the Oakland Raider's rules:

Raider Rule 1, Cheating is encouraged.

Raider rule # 2, see rule #1

You may not like it, those who have everything go about getting it, losers cry about it.

Fond memories of Tricky Dick who's real mistake was the cover up and they still dont learn! When you get caught admit it and hope for the best. The American way seems to be to lie and deny your ass off!
Nixon should be the poster boy for a truth not yet learned. Looking back he wasnt all that bad.

I remember Love Story with Ryan ONeal and Ali McGraw as Dick and
Pat Nixon. I think Dick played the hit theme on piano didnt he?
One thing I'll say for Nixon, I bet he didnt cheat on his wife!
