Voted today in the Lack. As an Independent I could only vote on the issues. NO I don't want the Commissioners appointing the row officers for I think obvious reasons and YES go ahead and do a study on County Government. I could find only one name among the nominees that I respect and that was Dave Wenzel for the board. In Scranton I hope Liz gets the nod, but as an "outsider", a female and a person who cant keep track of her gun I don't see it happening.

I hope the Pistol Packin (Oops Wheres my Gun?) Mama does well. My only question is, if she is as
smart as I think she might be, why in hell would she want to take the wheel of the Titanic after it hit a the iceberg?

Betcha the Professor doesn’t vote!

Walter will win the nomination but what is remarkable is that in his sincere, if misguided, belief that everyone else is corrupt he fell victim to the corruption. Recording a conversation with CityVest chairman Judd Shoval was low, but using great latitude, might be construed as being within the course of his duties. Recording Retirement Board Executive Sessions, held for the purpose of sensitive legal and personnel matters, violates the very privilege meant to be preserved. The recording violated attorney/client privilege and put the County at risk.

Walter's self-righteous and self deluded belief that he was a "Savior of the people" led him to break the law, pure and simple. He would be the first person to call for the resignation of someone else accused of these e violations, but the law is different for the self-righteous.

Pack your bags Walter this is only a reprieve - you lose in November and you can return to life with the rest of us mere mortals. No headlines, no rehabilitation and a criminal conviction to boot.

Scranton chooses the same old crap in the Mayors race! Not a place for new faces and/or ideas. Same as it ever was...
