HERE WE GO AGAIN
Another mass shooting in the United States.
13 dead including the shooter who was a Navy Reservist.
It is reported he got access to the Navy Yard in Washington by using a fake ID card.
President Obama mourned the loss of another group of people gunned down in less than an hour in one day in America. He “promised to make sure “whoever carried out this cowardly act is held responsible.”
People across America were outraged and urged people to remember Sandy Hook, Columbine and other mass shootings.
There are calls for all of us to urge our lawmakers to try and legislate our way out of this madness.
In the meantime, President Obama will not take your guns away so don’t believe the right wing goofballs that say he will.
The NFL is on tonight.
The sun will rise tomorrow and because this is America, it will happen again.
While we mourn the loss of the dead and their families, the sad fact is this:
as it happened in other mass shootings, life will go on.
Obladi, Oblada……until it happens again.
Then we’ll repeat the process all over.

and now the talking heads will begin what they do, talk and it will be endlessly analyzed and in the end nothing will happen and little if anything will change until the next time when the cycle will begin again.
I once lived with an M-16 in my possession every day with good reason. It was government issue. I have not felt the need to handle a weapon since, but every moron wants an AR 15 and far too many have them. This is a case in point.

Nobody cares to address the human element or the insidious nature of the pharmacological "side effects" of the drugs prescribed and taken.

As long as there are two people on the face of this earth we will have some sort of killings. With the current amount of humans on this earth we will have many more. Looks like we as a so called "civilized society" this will be the norm.
Just more fodder for those arm chair QB's the next day. Than we get the listners calling in on how to solve the problem. And on an on an on we go. God bless those victims.
Let’s face the truth. America loves its guns and this will never change. I saw the initial reports on this latest mass carnage and it had the feel of listening to the same awful song over and over again. Of course, the madman who perpetrated the act was said to be “quiet, polite….never could see this coming.” This is usually what friends or acquaintances say. Or the other side of the coin, “he kept to himself, was unfriendly, kind of out there.”
I must admit, when I saw this clown’s co-worker make that statement last night on cable I just switched the channel to ME TV. I figured that I knew what was next. A group of talking heads on one station calling for gun control. Another on an additional station shouting that gun control could not have prevented it. And the band played on.
Gun control measures will NEVER be adopted in the US of A. The fact that even the most miniscule measures could not clear DC following the massacre of 20 innocent children last winter proves it. When Obama makes his speeches this week concerning the issue he is merely wasting his time. Hell, the GOP congress won’t even go to war if he asks for it!! And we all know how war happy they are. And I don’t want to hear the argument that if the Democrats had control of the congress that control measures would pass. The Dems are far too aware that the assault weapons bill in the early 90’s was one of the reasons they lost a nearly four decade hold on majorities in DC. Politicians represent “INTERESTS” NOT “PEOPLE”.
In short, no gun control because big money and a good chunk of influential citizens don’t want it. And it can be rightfully debated as to whether it would work anyway. I know not much, but I can assure you of one fact. Ten, twenty, fifty years from now we will still be debating the issue-----along with abortion. The shootings are as American as apple pie. Do yourselves a favor tonight. Skip CNN, FOX or MSNBC.
Watch F-Troop instead. At least you won’t be disappointed.

The reason this sounded like the other killings was because the media now has a template complete with music bed for reporting such incidents. It's like AutoTune for robots reporting breaking news.
The sad part is most people believe the first thing they hear, figure its the truth, turn on METv and repeat what they heard at the water cooler the next day, not knowing the story has changed.
The common denominator is mental illness. It's easier to call for gun control than involuntary confinement pending treatment.
Sadly, I no longer care about gun control. Insitute it don't institute these fucked up people will find another day. Man's inhumanity to man has been around since Kane and Able, and sadly it isn't going anywhere.
There are just ****ed up people in the world who have no respect, nor concern for human life and disarming them will never change that.

I AGREE. I THOUGHT ABOUT ADDING THIS THOUGHT WHEN I WAS WRITING THIS BUT EDITED MYSELF BECAUSE PEOPLE DID DIE. BUT IF I WERE A NEWS DIRECTOR, I'D HAVE A TEMPLATE LIKE YOU SAID READY TO GO. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS CHANGE THE NAME OF THE CITY. IT'S KIND OF LIKE THOSE SNOWSTORM STORIES, SEND A GUY ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD GETTING PELTED WITH SNOW AND ICE, A REPORTER IN A GROCERY STORE INTERVIEWING PEOPLE BUYING EGGS AND MILK AND ANOTHER REPORTER AT A PENNDOT SHED. THIS IS WHAT A GUN STORY HAS BECOME.
And Anderson "overexposed" Cooper and others in the street and in the way.
Not sure where you heard the shooter used a faked ID but from all the reports I read, he had two ID's, one to get on the grunds and one to gain entry into the building. He is supposed to have been a civilian employee and had gone through a bacground check. Trying to stop this stuff is like trying to stop a storm.

Stupid would be invading a country which had nothing to do with an attack in order to avenge it! Stupid would be supporting Geo Bush and the real chief exec dickless dick cheney in nation building and war whoops. Stupid would be voting again and again on a plan that has already passed.
