TRUMP BESEECHES THE RUSSIANS
(Photo: Business Inider.com)
The Republican President who ended the Cold War must be crying in his grave right now. Ronald Reagan and George Bush essentially were instrumental in ending the Cold War with Russia. But now Donald Trump wants to embrace Russia. He said so much in Scranton.
No liberal spin. From a strategic standpoint he has put the Clinton e mail issue if not at bay but at rest. By giving his approval of a foreign government to look into any e mails or files, he is not only risking national security BUT inviting it.
That is treason.
By saying, "Well if she didn't do that, he would't have to ask the Russians."
If you think that, then let's shut down the FBI.
If you call Clinton's conduct risking national security, then how would you characterize this?
Don't worry about liberal spin....figure out how the people on the Foreign Relations committee, all Republicans spin this.
Pat Toomey: brilliant move in staying home.

OOOPS WAIT!!! MY MISTAKE

A local talk show host said tonight Trump was joking about the Russians. Yeah that makes it all better.

GOP PRESIDENTS FROM BEYOND

Reagan:  "You would not believe what Trump said now!!!"

THE DEMS: ARE THEY UNIFIED?????

You bet. There might be some left over Bernie Sanders supporters but it is clear the Democrats are going to do their best to get this win. History is with them for nominating the first woman for President. But history is against them when trying to win another four years after a two term President. Very difficult to do.
The Sanders people really don’t have any place to go. Sooner or later most of them will acquiesce. The polls are tight right now and in some quarters Trump is winning in key states. This election will be all about turnout. The Dems better start getting moderates and the base out NOW!

BILL CLINTON’S SPEECH

Last night Bill Clinton talked about the girl he met! Here is his speech.

JERRY BROWN SPEAKS!!!

An old nemesis of the Clintons, California Governor Jerry Brown gave a speech tonight at the Convention. Jerry Brown actually won Luzerne County in the 1992 Pennsylvania primary.

THEN THERE WAS JOE BIDEN!!!!

The scrappy kid from Scranton knocks it out of the park.

I accept your conclusion that if one is guilty of putting national security at risk, both are and both should be tried in court and defend their actions.
Do you?

David, it really isn't that impossible to win a term after 8 years of the same party. Al Gore would have followed Clinton if the Republican Supreme Court did not stop the Florida vote recount. Cheating does not count.

So true. Al Gore was the best President we never had!

I'd take that bet any day.
There is such a thing as intent and Trump exhibited criminal and treasonous intent.

"There is such a thing as intent and Trump exhibited criminal and treasonous intent."
Come on Dave, criminal and treasonous INTENT, are you ****ing kidding me?
This hedging words crap is beneath all of us. Are we back to Bill claiming having his penis sucked to a dress splattering orgasm wasn't sex?
SO, with INTENT, the same could be said of Trump. His INTENT could have been to make the point that the Russians can hack private email servers. His INTENT could have been to use an absurd statement to demonstrate the absurdity of using a private server for governmental affairs. Or, his INTENT could have been to again demonstrate he is just a loud mouth.
Hilary's INTENT could have been to keep public information hidden. Her INTENT could have been to subvert right to know laws. Her INTENT could have been driven by paranoia. Or, her INTENT could of been as she claimed.
These arguments will never end.
Boisterous election rhetoric on both sides is the norm. Outrageous statements are made time and time again over the course of an election season. The day after the election, most candidates go back to being buddies, yet, the asinine populace continues to hate those for whom they were opposed.
The supporters of each, see their candidate with only rose colored glasses and the opponent through a fog of fear and hatred. Pundits, politicos and voters have not matured one bit in the last two hundred plus years --- it truly is pathetic.
It is unbelievable that Trump some how managed to secure the nomination, and it is just sad that Obama (influencing Biden not to run), Hillary and the DNC prevented Democratic party members to have a voice and choice, in an open, fair, impartial primary.
These may in fact be the two most flawed candidates in our lifetimes. Does that mean either one may not do a better than, or worse than, expect job?
We don't know what the future will bring. However, on Jan 20th, we will swear in a new president. On the 21st we will wake up, go to work, or school, or take care of our children, and the world will be much the same as it had been the preceding days.
Four years later, it will not be as dystopic as one group feared, nor will it be as utopic as the other promised --- the republic will be changed, in some ways for the better, in some ways for the worse, but it will survive, and each of us will go on with our daily lives and activities...
Of course, as a new Messiah and and new Lucifer will be running for president, the same pathetic, bullshit will have started anew.
