Today we reach the 5400^th edition of LuLac. We have seen tremendous growth in the last two years in terms of people checking in to see what we are doing. There are days when the news just writes itself, all we need to do here is format it and give our take on it.

While the blog format is not as popular as pod casts and the short thought messages of social media, we maintain this format as a historical record of our times in this ongoing century. Having started in May 2006, there have been significant changes in America. Our arguments have become shriller. One side blames the other. One thinks they are 100% right, the other side feels the same way.

Are we partisan? Are we biased? Sure, we all are. We’re the product of our experiences and history. Right now, there is a proliferation of news sources that simply cannot tell the truth. There are those on the right that take what they hear as gospel. Our job if you will, has changed in these 5400 editions because some things need to be called out.  Some may not like it, some may. I have right wing MAGAs calling me a Communist and Progressives saying I’m too middle stream. That for some strange reason makes me comfortable.

I have been accused of hating the President and calling him names like liar, bigot, fascist cruel and incompetent.  In the end, all I’m doing is describing what I see. I hope that it changes as this era progresses. Either way, we’re on to more editions of politics and pop culture as we reach thousands of readers who champion and curse us on any given day. We wouldn't want it any other way.
