DAN MEUSER’S

RADIO AD

10^th Congressional candidate Dan Meuser has been running a radio ad in his bid for re-election to the very red 9^th district. Dan hasn’t talked about any real accomplishments he made for his district because quite frankly I couldn’t fund any.

Unlike Rob Bresnehan, I see nothing of consequence that he has brought to his district. His ad though attack his opponent in the ninth for making $300,000 as a campaign strategist. Funny how it’s okay Republicans to make tons of money but when a Democrat does well, they are demonized. His opponent is Rachel  Wallace who happened to work for Democratic candidates.

Oh the horror!!! 

He used fear in the ad to say that a person who worked for Obama and Biden was somehow unpatriotic. He also brought up the time worn GOP lie that somehow accepting money from a George Soros funded group was somehow going to end the world. Yet he kneels before a President that rolls the red carpet out for communists, enriches himself by billions and has violated the first amendment by banning access to the White House.

I guess Dan has no issue with media access unless he uses the POTR system of engaging the press.

PROFANITY ON THE RUN.

You guys in the 10^th can believe his ads at your own peril. It’s your vote.

But remember to at least thank the man for your standard of living which now includes

Gas at $4.60 cents.

Diesel at $6.80.

Ground Beef at 8 bucks.

An end to SNAP benefits for the poor.

Cuts in Medicaid.

A 40 BILLION DOLLAR war. (Imagine what could be done with that largesse to help the middle class!)

Tax breaks for rich guys like himself.

18 dead and 800 injured in a war that no one wanted except his buddy Don.

Gutting the Affordable Care Act where hundreds of thousands of people were thrown out of health care plan.  

Cutting 3800 jobs at the Center for Disease control  citing "waste" when Public Health is being slashed. 

NOT meeting with constituents except in controlled circumstances.   

This is all the stuff Dan Meuser has done for his district.  

 He supported the Big Beautiful Bill. That’s all you need to know about this guy.

The way I see it, the 9^th district has only one thing going for them: Rachael Wallace.

Meet the recently laid off staff of the CEO Food Bank. These were employees that traveled through the communities educating and demonstrating people on nutrition. Not everybody has the luxury of a chef or cook like the people in D.C. have. GOP candidates like Meuser demonize the poor and less thans when they hear of stories about people using food stamps for junk food. The folks at CEO not only gave food for the people who needed it NOW but educated the less sophisticated  on how to eat better and make that dollar stretch.

The chaos, cruelty and craziness of this administration is finally becoming real in the 9^th district.

Dan Meuser is part of the problem.

 

LUZERNE

COUNTY @ 240

Luzerne County celebrated its 240th anniversary on Friday, September 25, 2026, with a grand event at the F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts in Wilkes‑Barre

. The festivities honored the county’s history, cultural heritage, and community spirit, coinciding with the nation’s 250th anniversary.

Performances: The Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic presented Aaron Copland’s Appalachian Spring and Lincoln Portrait, accompanied by multimedia projections created by Steve Husted of Knot Just Any Day

Special Guests: Broadway actress Celia Hottenstein (Luzerne County native) and husband Travis Taber performed People Will Say We’re in Love from Oklahoma. Local singer‑songwriter Gracie Jane Sinclair joined the Philharmonic

Dance: The Dance Theatre of Wilkes‑Barre performed under choreographer Gina Prokop‑Malsky

Narration: Radio announcer Chris Norton and historian Tony Brooks narrated historical segments, including the county’s origins and notable figures

Official Recognition: County Manager Romilda Crocamo opened the program, and Drew Popish, Northeast Regional Director for PA Gov. Josh Shapiro, read a gubernatorial proclamation

We were  the Kirby tonight for the 240th anniversary of Luzerne County. Having been on the bicentennial committee was excited to be there. 

Tony Brooks and Romilda Crocomo hosed a panel discussion with Celia Hottenstein and her husband.

Both Chris Norton and Tony Brooks great narration of Lincoln and the love letter video to Luzerne County.

Plus there was a song from 1963 about WIlkes Barre. 👔🎵🎹🎼

 

 

BUGDA RECEIVES RECOGNITION

We were so glad to see Jayne Ann Bugda from WBRE/WYOU receive recognition from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Mid-Atlantic Chapter Silver Circle Society at the annual ceremony in Philadelphia.
