NO SHAME
The Wilkes Barre Area School Board voted 6-1 to renominate incumbent President Frank Pizzella as President. Pizzella is under investigation in the county corruption probe. His cronies on the board voted yes. That sends a great message to the young people doesn't it? But I'm not outraged because this is what we get when we pick an pold war horse like Phil Litinski over a guy like Harry Haas in the last election. You can't stop them, they'll do what they like. My proposal is to eliminate ALL school boards and set up a county school system with one administrator. Eliminate these jokers and this form of government completely. In the meantime, remember these names:
Fisher,
Katsock,
Latinski,
McGuire,
Moran.
I know it won't happen but maybe they should be targeted for propping up an accused felon. It makes all of them complicit in the corruption. LOSERS! ALL!

Thank God that the champion of reform Christine Katsock finally got elected. She was going to change Wilkes-Barre, Harrisburg and the School Board. Thankfully she would never go along with this kind of a vote.. O wait, my husband is telling me that she did. Is that right? Well I guess she finally learned a lesson all those years getting trounced. Ya gotta go along to get along!
Katsock has been a total disappointment. You know I am very glad she did not get elected State Rep. And Brian Corcoran is no better. I agree with you Yonk, set up a new system and get rid of school boaRDS.
1:19 you bet... she's no better than the rest of them, she just finally made the right connections.
Also... the people in this county are total idiots. They're like a bunch of friggin lemmings, for how many decades have they voted in all these Democrats, and still do the same and I assure you, will in the future too. They're just plain stupid. Past history tells it all. This county has to be the laughing stock of the country!

Katsock couldn't keep quiet for years when she was getting trounced. Now all of a sudden she has no comment?! What a disappointment. I want my vote back.

Get a grip. The reason it is mostly Democrats or even all Democrats who are being caught is simply because this is a Democratic area. If it were a Republican area, are you so blind as to think Republicans are incorruptible? These people are not bad Democrats, they are bad PEOPLE! Wake the hell up and get over being stupid.

NO, MY TYPING FINGER (SINGULAR) IS JUST FINE. I'VE BEEN TRYING TO TAKE FREAKING FINAL EXAMS, SOMETHING I HAVEN'T DONE IN 33 YEARS. I WAS ALSO IN NYC ON FAMILY AND PUBLISHING BUSINESS. LET ME ADDRESS THIS NOW: I HAVE BEEN A MAJOR BOOSTER OF CHRSTINE KATSOCK. I THINK SHE HAD A LOT TO OFFER THE VOTERS BUT I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED BY HER COMPLETE SELL OUT TO THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY AND IN PARTICULAR TO MR. PIZZELLA. NO MY DRUG OF CHOICE THESE DAYS IS ALEVE AND TAB. A COUNTY WIDE SYSTEM CAN WORK BUT YOU NEED A WHOLE NEW SET OF PEOPLE TO RUN IT. OUR COUNTY GOVERNMENT SHOULD BE IMPLODED ALONG WITH THE SCHOOL SYSTEMS. NEW SYSTEM, NEW PEOPLE, I'M TIRED OF IT ALL.
