MAYBE I'M AMAZED

MAYBE I’M AMAZED….that even after all this time that has passed since the initial indictment, Judge Mark Ciavarella's name invokes such raw emotions. Hate, wrath, sadness, compassion, it’s all there. No one seems indifferent.
MAYBE I’M AMAZED….that Americans live and die with the results of “Dancing With the Stars” but can’t tell you who their Congressman is.
MAYBE I’M AMAZED…that the two owners that had the longest winning streak in the history of the Yankees (winning the most World Series and pennants) Dan Topping and Del Webb have no monument or recognition at Yankee Stadium.
MAYBE I’M AMAZED….that this season’s TV series “The Apprentice” features the most mean spirited people I’ve ever seen on national TV. These contestants were picked from people that lost their jobs because of the bad economy. Witnessing their individual and collective dispositions, I have to think that it was more than the bad economy that gave these jokers their walking papers and pink slips.
