TRUMP REALITY SHOW: DID IT FINALLY JUMP THE SHARK???

Jumping the shark is a TV term for a program that just went off of its message and went on a way that no one would think credible. Some of the most popular TV shows like “Happy Days” and “Bonanza” are two examples. How many wives would Ben and the boys marry and then have them die off? I use the TV series as an example because of the most recent comment by Donald Trump of banning all Muslims from the United States. This is what happens when a candidate runs his own campaign. Just last week Trump seemed to be moderating his bluster. There was talk that his nomination was such a done deal that the National GOP started advising Congressional candidates how to run with him on the top of the ticket. Then came this outrageous and unenforceable statement.
Trump is a very smart man and it is amazing to me why he allowed himself to do this. If his goal is to become President, this will not help. The National GOP and his fellow candidates, save Ted Cruz were fast and furious in their attacks on this statement.
So far Trump has not suffered the ramifications of a politician making an either dumb or outrageous statement. This might be the one that coalesces the GOP against him. That said, one of two things will happen.
A. Trump will bolster his radical support and come to the convention with a block of votes. This will ensure a brokered convention. The first one since 1952. The ultimate nominee: Romney.
Or
B. The emergence of a candidate who is just as Conservative as Trump but a little more measured. Ted Cruz is leading in Iowa. Watch him.
One has to wonder if Trump just went too far. We’ve said this before but this time his own party has an issue that will unite them against him. More to come.

The other night on Talk Radio the Muslim issue was compared to the Japanese internment during World War II by President Roosevelt. The Japanese Americans in this country had their property confiscated and they were PUT in a CAMP!!! The Germans, the Italians and the Russians were not. They might have been watched but didn’t have their stuff taken away from them.
But the funny thing is that someone cited Michele Malkin the right wing Conservative as someone whose grandfather was interred during WWII. To have Malkin who has opposed every reasonable proposal to help the middle class is not the heroine you want to use as a spokesperson for the Japanese who by the way got reparations from us years later.

So groups that claim Islam as their faith continue to attack us, a guy in this country may have been planning up to four years to kill via an act of terror, a terrorist enters the country on a fiancé visa, uses a false address that no federal agency bothers to verify, ISIS/ISIL has stated they will use the refugee program, and Trump says, let's have a temporary ban until we can figure out what is going on... and you think it is going to hurt him?
Germans, Italians and Japanese citizens were not able to enter the country during WWII, North Vietnamese and North Korean citizens couldn't enter during those conflicts, during the cold war citizens of communist countries couldn't enter the country without extensive checks.
What part of the fact that a war as been declared against us aren't people getting?
Islam is more than a faith, but like Jewish, it is also a culture and ethnicity.
The enemy calls itself the Islamic State. Al Qaeda is an Islamic organization.
People seem to miss a major point, the US didn't identify the enemy as Islamic, the terrorist have self identified as Islamic.
Liberals have defended the most liberal president in US history for use of internment camps for generations, and while they were wrong, they were used during a time of war, Lincoln suspended the writ of habeas corpus, Wilson had imprisoned anti war people... It is a fucking war, in which losing means people die.
Trump is the only person running that seems to grasp that we are at war with an enemy that is exploiting the fact that we are playing by imaginary rules that they don't recognize.
You think Trump has jumped the shark? Americans are sick of being pushed around, they are sick of being sitting targets, and they are sick of being led by a pussy.Trump is solidifying his new job as president.

No matter what, Islamic terrorists WANT to kill us and nothing will deter them. It is in their religious DNA. They must be neutralized.

It looks like Trump may be correct again; just saw on ABC news that ISIS may have a machine to make passports, if so, what better way to protect the country than to have a temporary ban on Muslims until we figure out what is going on?
It really seems political correctness is leading to death of people.
