HANUKKAH AND CHRISTMAS EVE OCCUR FOR FIRST TIME IN 38 YEARS

This is something I’ve been thinking about since Thanksgiving!  For the first time in 38 years Hanukkah and Christmas Eve fall on the same day, December 24th, the first night of Hanukkah and of course Christmas Eve.
For me this is personal because it was one of the best holidays (post childhood), (pre-Mrs. LuLac) I ever had.
It was in 1978 on an icy December 24th. 
Let’s just say that in the spirit of the Jewish and Roman Catholic faiths, it was a well traveled but memorable evening.
