TOOMEY ATTACKS GOVERNORS AND GOES AFTER THE POOR

On Morning Joe today Senator Pat Toomey said about Medicaid, “Governors like free money thrown at them”.
Well at least the coward is coming out from hiding. Here’s what he said when he found himself under fire as he defended the Republican Medicaid proposal on Monday’s Morning Joe. Despite his repeated attempts to explain how the bill only curbed the rate of growth in Medicaid and did not cut actual spending, he was incessantly attacked by co-host Joe Scarborough. “Why is it we're going after the poor?” Scarborough exclaimed incredulously.“You've got to start somewhere. This is the biggest one”.

Wilkes-Barre, PA – Congressman Matt Cartwright will host a “Coffee with your Congressman” event in Wilkes-Barre on July 11th.  This event is an opportunity for constituents to discuss issues that matter to them directly with Congressman Cartwright. 

This event is open to the public. RSVPs are not required.
