The LuLac Edition #3561, July 25th, 2017
Say what you want about Conway, (and I’ve said plenty!) Cummings was doing her job in getting access to a person who is on the scene. That can only be good for people in Lackawanna County.
The conference dove into different topics including human services, environment, commerce and energy issues impacting communities across the state, transportation, opioid crisis, Medicare, small business, education, the dairy industry, EPA, imports-exports, trade and NASA. (Yeah NASA!) My personal feeling is we need to get back on track in space! Cummings also toured the White House. No word on whether she ran into any other big shot. But hey, one was enough!
The key here is Cummings spoke with people who work to craft programs and policies. Cummings said,"The conference gave us a direct link to the White House."
Now Ms. Cummings and I have had differences on pretty much every major issue there is nationally but I know this. This is not an opportunity that will just be a fleeting moment in time. Many call these trips junkets and a waste of tax payer money. Not when you get into clear access with top White House advisers like Cummings did!

The one in the Lu supports everything that is wrong in America by supporting Trump. She is a party leader who has w=hitched her wagon to not a star but a flaming meteorite hurdling to earth.
The other one in The Lac Laureen is sincere in making change for her community.
One takes, the other gives.
Simple enough?
