My good friend Pete Cassidy came up with this end of baseball season saying he's been uttering for about 3 years now. This is gold.
At the end of the Baseball Regular season its time once again to acknowledge the All Time Leaders in Home Runs. Hank Aaron- most Homes Runs career and Roger Maris- Most Home Runs season!
How true and the only performance altering things they used was Aaron's determination and Maris' Camels.

As far was we know... Testosterone was first synthesized in the 1930's and Anabolic Steroids have been used in athletics since the 1940's.

and Maris and there should be a special place in the Hall of Fame for Maris who was never treated fairly especially by the Yankees!

Nonsense. Aaron hit the majority of his home runs in tiny Fulton County Stadium in Atlanta -- a minor league bandbox. Everybody who played for the Braves from 1966 to about 1970 hit their career high in home runs in this little ballpark -- everybody from Rico Carty to Ralph Garr, to Darrell Evans to Bob Didier, for that matter. And Aaron took more greenies than the next guy, as he's admitted.
Maris hit most of his 61 home runs in old Yankee Stadium -- a ballpark purposely designed for easy HR's from a left-handed hitter. Many were fly ball outs in other ballparks. And he hit them off at least 20 pitchers who were in the minors the year before -- the AL expanded in 1961.
Steroids have been proven to do nothing than help a player recover faster from injuries. Who knows who took, except it's a pretty good bet that any player who took them and hit home runs hit them off pitchers who also took them. They can't take a punch and judy hitter and turn him into a power hitter.

Anabolic steroids are used for AIDS patients to prevent and reverse muscle wasting. They build muscle in the absence of any exercise.

HGH will cause growth of the entire body except bones where the growth plates have closed, however certain bones, those of the forehead, jaw hands and feet can experience new growth. Also, internal organs can increase in size such as the abdominal organs.
They do NOT simply help recovery.
