Kennedy, I believe, is record holding president for the shortest flight ever on Air Force One; the flight from Ft. Worth to Dallas which took approximately 10-15 minutes--it took longer for the plane to taxi off the runway than the initial journey.
The flight was done for political purposes as to provide the citizens of Dallas an opportunity to see the big blue bird land at love field.
Too bad the same amount of thinking wasn't evident as far as using the bubble top in a far right city's streets.

The same people who complain about water-boarding and nation building completely idolize JFK, the same guy who escalated the arms race, began the heavy duty entrenchment in Vietnam and approved the assassination of a foreign head of state.
Well at least he tagged Marilyn Monroe.

Pretty broad statement there 12:58.
No arguement that JFK was guilty as charged on the four counts you mention, but the connection to today and the most previous administration is vague at best. I once idolized JFK, but learned better as years went on and some truths came out. I dont approve of nation building or waterboarding and dont think too many folks do.
Surprisingly I would condone torture in some rare cases and realize it always went on. We didnt boast about it or take pictures. Thats the difference.
False or real Kennedy was inspiring at the time. Bush and Dickless were just macho although both dodged service and stupid. Cant say that about JFK.
