McGINTY TAKES SENATE LEAD

I know it's early but Katie McGinty now has edged out Pat Toomey by two points in a recent poll. She is pulling ahead in the race for U.S. Senate and the State GOP is panicking. Some officials are asking for Governor Wolf to release McGinty's e mails. Really?
It should be noted that Toomey won his Senate race in 2010 by just two percentage points.
Look out, this will be a close one.

MAINE'S SUSAN COLLINS WEIGHS IN

Senator Susan Collins of Maine has come out and said she will not support either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton for President. Collins has been a type of moderate Republican (although she screwed the Obama administration on the Affordable Care Act) and her non endorsement will not effect the pro Trump voters. But for those GOP voters looking to go elsewhere, Collins statement is huge.

JURY SELECTION DONE IN KANE TRIAL

The first phase of the  trial began today in the case of Attorney Genera Kathleen Kane. After about eight hours of jury selections, 12 jurors, plus four alternates were selected. The roster is split dead even between the sexes. Kane is facing charges of false swearing, perjury and obstruction after she was accused of leaking secret grand jury materials to embarrass her political and professional foes.
Again, this was a rookie, unforced error that even a low level Scranton ward heeler would stoop to.
The trial begin tomorrow.
