POLL QUESTION

NEW GUV, OLD GUV

As we enter the heat of the Governor’s race in 2010, the GOP is keeping Tom Corbett away from live microphones and Dan Onorato of the Democrats is telling people how to spell his name. In our poll question last week, we asked who people would be inclined to vote for as the next Governor of Pennsylvania. The results were a bit surprising to me given the fact that this is a heavily Democratic area. Here are the results:

AT THIS POINT IN THE 2010 GOVERNOR’S RACE, WHO WOULD YOU BE INCLINED TO VOTE FOR?
DAN ONORATO 24%.
TOM CORBETT 76%.

When we asked the next part of the question on Governor Rendell’s tenure, this is the result we received:

2.DO YOU THINK ED RENDELL WAS A SUCCESSFUL GOVERNOR IN HIS TENURE?
YES 20%.
NO 80%

NEW POLL QUESTION

WHAT ABOUT BOB???

This morning on WILK Radio former Lackawanna County Commissioner Bob Cordaro appeared on the air talking about the Scranton Wilkes Barre Yankees deal. Cordaro refused to address the charges against him. Given the fact that he is going to have a trial date soon, we decided to pose this question.
BOB CORDARO’S APPEARANCE FOR THREE HOURS ON WILK TUESDAY SEPT 21st WILL DO THE FOLLOWING:
1. EXPLAIN HIS SIDE OF THE YANKEE DEAL.
2. BE A DETRIMENT TO HIS DEFENSE.
3. BE A HELP TO HIS DEFENSE AND PUBLIC IMAGE.
4. WAS A SELF PROMOTING GRAND STAND PLAY.

His side of the deal is that it was a great deal for Lackawanna County. Its his deal, its a good deal and was made in the best interest of the area and the people. What a shame we dont still have Dunmore Bobby in there pitching for us.
One thing for sure, Government has no business in sports!
